I'm in love with my car

I'll be the first to admit that I've been a bit car banana's these last few weeks. But hey, getting a new car is a pretty big deal. Well, it is when you're a car person at least. Anyway.

I've just ordered my new wheels.

M Sport BMW 1 Series (in sparkling graphite). Ok, so I downgraded engines from a 2.0 diesel to a 1.8 diesel in order to get the M Sport model, but the extra's are worth it. M Sport aerodynamic package and interior. M Sport suspension. 17" wheels. Sports seats. Upgraded Sound system. To mention but a few.

Sheer Driving Pleasure apparently. Now if only there wasn't a 10 week lead time on the damn thing.

Seven things I want to do before I die
1 - Own a house. Preferably a large detached one. The longer I stay in London the less likely this seems. I'll settle for a stylish 3 bed flat on the Thames.
2 - Visit Europe.
3 - Be a dad (when I'm ready for it).
4 - Be better at keeping in touch with friends.
5 - Bungee off Blaauwkrantz bridge.
6 - Visit New York.
7 - Find more time.

Seven things I cannot do
1 - Play any form of musical instrument.
2 - Eat a chocolate without wanting to drink a Coke afterward.
3 - Tolerate music I don't like... but I'm working on this one for the sake of my relationship.
4 - Remember to buy birthday or Christmas gifts.
5 - Remember driving directions after just one trip to a destination.
6 - Maths.
7 - Write neatly with either hand.

Am currently enjoying the gentle caress of Paracetemol overdose. What bliss shall sleep bring tonight? Perchance another 1am text message from the woman I love most... pissed off with me for not wanting to chat with her 'I'm fun tonight' mildly innebriated self.
